Though we'd exchanged only a few words during our time together in our church's choir and servant leadership team, Steven boldly asked me to Homecoming our senior year of high school (2017). And this is where it all began! As we got to know each other better, Steven continued to impress me with his unrelenting pursuit of me, his kind heart, his strong and gentle character, and his desire to daily grow closer Christ. We went to two more dances and decided we would wait to "date" until the Fall because of our summer jobs. We had our first date in Auburn, as we were both freshmen at Auburn University, and the dates haven't stopped since! I am so grateful for such a strong, loving and handsome man and I cannot wait to call him my husband!

Well it all started with a flip of a coin for who my senior homecoming date would be! I knew of Laura through choir but still didn’t know her that well. From going on choir trips together and taking every opportunity at church to talk to her, I quickly began to see how wonderful she truly was. Waiting until college to start “dating” was so worth it! Getting to know just how beautiful Laura is both in and out every day has been the best joy of dating her! Her encouraging spirit, humble heart, and love for the Lord really set her apart in my eyes! I cannot wait for Laura to be my wife!
