Melinda and I have always been the 'old married couple' in our family, but since she actually got married a few years ago, she has given us a niece and two nephews! Melinda and I have a shared love for country music and Dr. Pepper cream soda. Steven and I will be (sorta) neighbors with Melinda, my brother-in-law Zak, and the Minton clan in Madison.

Shane and I go way back. From high school sports to endless hours of Call of Duty, we've shared victories and confided in each other through the ups and downs. Whether it was driving around aimlessly, discussing the twists and turns of life, or navigating virtual warzones, he's been a constant companion, helping me grow into the person I am today.

Sister #2! Often mistaken for twins, Amanda and I can be found having fits of giggles over the smallest of things. Amanda currently lives in Colorado and works as a massage therapist. During their recent honeymoon in Italy, Steven and I met up with Amanda and my brother-in-law Dan in Florence!

Becca is my oldest (and wisest) sister. A queen of many things in life, Becca currently resides in Chicago while going to med school and being a mother to our other niece. It is safe to say Becca had an influence on my adventurous decisions, as she and my brother-in-law Dan lived in Australia for a year after graduating college.

Maddy has been one of my best friends since sixth grade, so we went through the trials and tribulations of teenage years together before transitioning to college and adult life. Maddy has been there from the start of mine and Steven's relationship and has been our biggest supporter. She currently lives in our hometown of Des Moines, although I am working on convincing her that Madison is a better option. :)
