Maid of Honor
I am so thrilled to have my sister, Kristie, as my Maid of Honor. She knows me better than anyone and has been my biggest cheerleader through every stage of life. Kristie is one of the hardest working people I know and has been a role model through every stage of my life. From her unwavering commitment to serve people as a Detective to her devotion to her best friend and husband, she is someone I always have and always will look up to. I can always count on her to keep things light, joyful (and point out a red-bellied woodpecker! - she is an amateur birdwatcher) even during life's busiest moments. I am beyond grateful to have her by my side on this special day, celebrating not just my love, but the beautiful sisterhood we share. I couldn’t ask for a better partner in this journey!
Best Man
Neel has been my best friend since we were both still awkwardly learning how to tie our own ties in high school (he was really bad at it and got a lot of dress code violations). From West Orange, New Jersey to Arlington, Virginia our decade of friendship has been nothing short of brotherhood. Neel has always been the first person I come to with every bit of excitement, nervousness, laughter and all that life has to offer. He was the first person I spoke to when Kayla and I started dating, and he was the first person I spoke to when I knew I wanted to propose. I truly could not be more excited and honored to have him by my side on the most important day of my life.
