We're getting married

We first met working at a trampoline park during our senior year of high school, not knowing then how much our lives were about to change. Just a few months later, we were each other’s prom dates, and everything between us felt so natural and easy. Four years at The Ohio State University only brought us closer, going to classes, OSU football and basketball games, living together, and even adopting our first cat. After graduation, we made a big and exciting decision to move to St. George, UT, for Kayla’s job. It was there that we truly began building a life of our own. Now, with a townhouse to call ours and two sweet cats to come home to, we knew the timing was just right to take the next step in our journey together.

After seven wonderful years together, our love was stronger than ever. We traveled to the breathtaking town of Ketchikan, Alaska. Kayla thought the evening was just about a simple ‘birthday dinner,’ but little did she know what was waiting for her. On the shoreline, surrounded by flowers, candles, and the sound of the ocean, Steven stood with a ring in hand. As Kayla stepped outside, their friends guided her down to the picturesque waterfront, where her future fiancé was waiting. With tears of joy in her eyes and the waves crashing softly behind them, Steven asked the question they both knew was coming: ‘Will you marry me?’. With no hesitation, Kayla said "Yes!".
