Matron of Honor
Megan is the Bride's big sister but is really the big sister to both bride and groom. She has supported Kathleen every day since she was born, and supported Steven since she was sure he was the one for Kathleen! She is the woman with a plan who keeps everyone together. The bride and groom would have never gotten to their wedding day without her constant support. She is also the mother of the adorable ring bearers/flower boys, Murphy and Sawyer.
Something Blue Crew
The Bride's little brother has been her partner in crime throughout their lives. From playing restaurant to break up long summer days to taking road trips to and from Kathleen's place in Columbia, the two have endless memories. Finn married the love of his live, Cindy, in a small ceremony in their parents back yard in October 2023. Kathleen was photographer and ceremony DJ for the proceedings, and loved every second of it.
Best Man
Bobby is the Groom's brother and the biggest Carolina fan at this wedding! Bobby's kind spirit fills every room he's in and you can count on him for a joke or a supportive hand. Kathleen loves hearing his stories about when he and Steven were kids!
Groomsman
John is Kathleen's brother in law and as a fellow USC student, responsible for driving Kathleen home on breaks, knew what duds Kathleen was dating before Steven first hand. Steven and John have become close friends, bonded by their mutual love of video games, Magic the Gathering, superhero shows and movies, and John's sons, Murphy and Sawyer.
Something Blue Crew
Gavin first met Kathleen in 4th grade in Mrs. Wingerter's class when Kathleen had just moved so South Carolina from New Jersey. Gavin loved Kathleen's curly hair, and the two stayed in each other's orbit through elementary and middle school. The three have supported each other through every change from high school to college, college to grad school and the work force, and beyond.
Something Blue Crew
Annika and Kathleen met in middle school classes and became close when they both joined the marching band in the summer before 9th grade. Annika marched the trombone and Kathleen played the marimba and general percussion in the pit. Annika and Kathleen share a love of movies and video games, but disagree on their ability to run an Iron Man. With their friend Gavin, the trio was inseparable in high school. The three have supported each other through every change from high school to college, college to grad school and the work force, and beyond.
Something Blue Crew
Katie Suggs was the bride's friend in high school, but became family when they roomed together in their first year of college. As first generation college students, Katie and Kathleen understood each others struggles and desires with their college education. Together they both became Resident Mentors in the Women's Quad at USC. Kathleen also followed Katie's footsteps and they became sisters in Omega Phi Alpha, one of the campuses service sororities. Katie now serves as a teacher coach at Socastee Elementary after serving as a second grade teacher and being nominated for Horry County Teacher of the Year.
Something Blue Crew
Mary Kate and Kathleen met as copy editors at the Daily Gamecock. The two became fast friends and were inseparable until Mary Kate graduated. Of course she came back to watch Kathleen graduate a year later. Mary Kate now lives in New York City and works in editing, but has always stayed in touch with Kathleen regardless of the distance or time. She was one of the first friends to meet Steven and give their approval. The couple both have many fond memories with Mary Kate.
Something Blue Crew
