For over 20 years, we lived familiar but disconnected lives. We both grew up in the Lehigh Valley only 14 miles from each other. We attended rival high schools, where we made mutual friends and attended the same sporting events. We then both went to Penn State, again living just miles apart, crossing paths through mutual friends and social events. Without knowing, we lived our lives most distantly after graduating college when Steve attended grad school and Julia started her career in Baltimore. But it wasn't long before we both found ourselves again in the same place, at the same time in Philadelphia. It was like an "invisible string" connected us throughout our lives.  “The invisible string theory is the idea that the universe itself is stitched together with unseen threads, all of which lead us to our destinies. Invisible connections, energetic ties, and unseen spiritual bonds can link us together. It’s a concept that believes that despite physical distance, there are subtle links between souls that are interconnected—as if they’ve been orbiting close to one another in a different dimension before eventually meeting in this world in divine timing.” Some souls may be on different sides of the world, speak different languages, or have existed at different times. Our string must have been a short one. In 2019 our worlds collided and everything made sense. We can't wait to celebrate our forever connection with you on September 21st, 2024.
