We met on Tinder in April 2023 and talked almost daily. Our first date was on June 2nd at Scoop Ice Cream in Richmond. We were nervous, but Steven even more. Júlia chose chocolate ice cream, but we don’t remember what Steven got. Since then, we haven’t stopped seeing each other, and our relationship became official on August 20th.
We traveled to Washington, Florida, California, Alaska, and Shenandoah, hiked a lot, and adopted two dogs. We’ve lived together since August 2024 and cherish moments with friends—barbecues or casual gatherings. Steven is learning Portuguese and keeps surprising Júlia. We love rock climbing and outdoor life. When Steven has to work in another state or travel, Júlia gets emotional and even cries. Steven does everything he can to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy. We are two engineers, but full of emotions and love. This soul connection couldn’t be more perfect. We hope to visit Júlia’s family in Brazil this year. We’re excited for new adventures.
