Rated the #2 best pizza place in the country! It’s also located on the historic walking road of St. Auggie, Saint George St., so you’ll get to see all the fun shops and restaurants/bars. There’s always a line but totally worth it. Cash only! But you have to try it :)
Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens
Popular museum with gorgeous gardens located in the heart of Jax and close to where Josie and Steven have lived these past 5 years :) If you like history, it’s a must!
Atlantic Beach
Probably the most popular beach destination near Jax! So much to do at Atlantic Beach including walking along the water, shops, bars, shopping, etc. Great place to explore!
Riverside Arts Market
Every Saturday 10a-3p, this is also in the heart of Riverside near where Josie and Steven live and is a popular event for the locals each week! Music, food, farmer’s market produce, pop up shops and more! It’s fun and something to do prior to the wedding.
Columbia Restaurant
One of the more well-known restaurants in St. Auggie that sits in the heart of the historic district! It’s a popular destination for anyone who visits the area and hosts some of the better Spanish food with amazing decor and Spanish influence. They have a fabulous on-site gift shop with the prettiest sangria pitchers, etc. to take home with you!
St Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum
Gorgeous place to visit with the best views of St. Auggie, along with great history! Perfect couple hour experience. Steven and Josie just visited it for the first time this year and highly recommend it!
Castillo de San Marcos National Monument
Known as the oldest masonry fort in the United States! But to the locals in St. Auggie, it’s a staple monument that everyone must explore at least once. Super cool area with amazing views of the water and great history. It’s right across the street from the historic district and shops, so it can be incorporated easily into your day!
Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens
Jax has an awesome zoo! If you have the time, do it!
River & Post
This place quickly became one of Josie and Steven’s favorite restaurants due to the amazing food and drinks, great ambiance and fun rooftop bar overlooking the downtown area and river. Highly recommend!
