Q: How did you meet? A: We work at the same company. Q: How long have you been together? A: We’ve been dating for 3 years and engaged for a year. Q: How did Steven propose? A: Steven: I bought the ring 3 months in advance without a real plan on when I was going to propose. After having the ring sitting around for a while, I decided to pop the question on our 2nd anniversary. Long Lake Park was the birthplace of our love story. It was where we spent the majority of our dates in the infancy of our relationship. It was the perfect place for me to propose. May 2nd finally came, we took half day off of work to celebrate our anniversary by going to our favorite park, then to Melting Pot in Minneapolis for dinner. We were skipping rocks by the lake when I suggested we needed to go looking for better rocks to skip. After a couple of moments, I told her I found a good “rock”. She turned around, I got on bended knee and asked her to marry me. She was shocked. She made me stay on my knee for half an eternity asking if I was serious multiple times, making sure I got permission from her family, which I already had. After the long wait, she said yes. Thanks to Jerimae’s warm love, my knee took only a few days to recover.😏 It was one of the happiest days of our lives. It was only the beginning of our exciting journey together that God has planned for us. We’ll be adding more questions that could be useful for our wedding games, so come and visit this website again!
