Summer Cocktail Attire - cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, slacks and jackets.

Although we love your tiny humans, this is an adults only event with the exception of immediate family.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at Cork & Gabel by 5:00pm.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Please include any dietary restrictions in your online RSVP.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking available at the wedding venue in the Cork & Gabel parking lot.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We will be staying at the Godfrey Hotel in Corktown, but there are many lovely options in downtown Detroit, about a 10 minute Uber from the venue. Ask Jane and Steve for other recommendations

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We have arranged for a shuttle from the Godfrey Hotel to Cork & Gabel by Trinity Transportation - please look for the big yellow school bus. It is otherwise a 15-20 minute walk down Michigan Ave.

Is Detroit Safe?

Answer

We feel safe exploring several areas of Detroit, including Corktown, downtown, and Midtown, including at night. That being said, Detroit is growing as a city, so please use your best judgment in other neighborhoods, and check with Jane and Steven about any safety concerns.
