Question
Where is parking for this shindig?
Answer
That's a great question. There's a church a block south of the venue, St. Wendelin, that has provided our guests with use of their parking lot. There will be a sign out front that says something akin to "Livingston Satterfield Celebration Parking" or, if they don't have that many letters, "Livingfield Celebration Parking". If you'd like to try your luck, you may be able to find additional parking in the street along Columbus and the various side streets nearby. The exact street address, per Google, should be "St Wendelin Church, 2281 Columbus Rd, Cleveland, OH 44113"
Question
What if I don't want to or can't drive home at the end of the night, where will I stay?
Answer
Once again, thank you for celebrating with us, we're so glad you could join us for this celebration of love. There are hotels in the downtown Cleveland area that are a 5-minute drive away, the two we looked at that were most affordable were the Residence Inn next to the Fifth Street Arcade and E. 4th Street, or the Hilton Garden Inn down near Progressive Field. However, we won't limit you to where you can stay, there's plenty of other hotel options, these are the ones we found that were reasonably priced (at the time we looked into them). We believe in full transparency so the hotels will charge you for parking while you stay. If a hotel isn't your lodging of choice, there should also be plenty of AirBnbs or other rental spots in the area you can stay in.
Question
Will there be food and drink at the function?
Answer
Of course! To thank you for celebrating us we're providing dinner, cookies for dessert and a round of drinks for the evening's event. Our plan is to utilize a drink ticket system, everyone will be provided a ticket at the beginning of the night to use toward beer, wine, or craft soda at the event space bar. After you've used your ticket, you will be responsible for your own drinks. Liquor will be available at the inside bar for purchase on your own tab.
Question
I have a food allergy, how will I know the happy couple won't poison me?
Answer
You can't trust everyone, but you CAN trust us <3 We communicated with the chef at the venue and he procured a list of ingredients/potential allergens for all the dishes being served. We've been told this list will be on display next to each dish so you can safely determine which dishes will be best for you.
Question
If I want to gift the couple with a check, who should I make it out to?
Answer
We do not expect gifts, getting to celebrate with our loved ones is what this is all about! However, if you would like to write a check please make it out to either Steven Livingston and/ or Jamie Satterfield. We decided as a family that we will socially be the "Livingstons" and legally Jamie will keep her last name.
