$$ If you feel like making the trek it’s totally worth it! Salt Lick is in close proximity to where the wedding takes place in beautiful Texas Hill Country about 15 mins from The Hampton Inn. Steven and Emilie bring all their guests here - it’s a well known Texas BBQ spot.

$$ Ok so neither Steven nor Emilie have actually been to this place but it’s suppose to be really famous so they decided to add anyways. Apparently people wait every morning in a line, sometimes for hours, to get their BBQ fix.

Major Austin attraction! Home of the famous “I love you so much”.
Come check out the famous bats! The Congress Ave bridge that crosses over the Colorado River is famous for "bat watching". This is just steps to the Hyatt Regency Hotel, South Congress Ave and Downtown Austin. If you get there around dusk you are more likely to spot a bat flying from under the bridge where the largest bat colony in the world resides for parts of the year.

Such an amazing experience for kids and adults. This natural spring was turned into an outdoor public pool in 1918 - previously purchased by the Barton family in 1837. The water is the same temperature year round.
Where Steven and Emilie first met! One of the most popular places to to go out and enjoy nightlife in downtown Austin. A few blocks of houses were turned into bars, many with stages in the back and live bands playing.
You will probably see more food trucks here in Austin than you ever have in your life! Many restaurants started as food trucks in this town prior to transitioning into a brick and mortar. This is one of the many “food truck trailer parks” that is an awesome option to check out.
There is always live music playing here with a few food trucks and a giant outdoor patio. This is a great option if you’re staying in South Austin, want to go out and don’t feel like going to downtown. Moontower is a short distance from Steven and Emilie’s house.
