FAQs

FAQs
Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the church no later than 15 minutes before the ceremony begins. Since our ceremony will follow the structure of a traditional Catholic Mass, it’s important that guests are seated before the processional starts. This will also give you enough time to park, enter quietly, and find your seat.

Question

What should I know about church etiquette?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place in a Catholic church and will follow the structure of a traditional Mass. We kindly ask that guests arrive early, dress respectfully, and remain seated and quiet throughout the ceremony. There will be moments when the congregation is invited to stand, sit, or kneel, which will be guided by the officiant. Thank you for helping us maintain a reverent and peaceful atmosphere during this sacred celebration.

Question

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras put away during the ceremony. Our professional photographer and videographer will be capturing the moment, and we want everyone to be fully present and phone-free in our photos.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We would love it if everyone waited until the day after the wedding to share any photos or videos. This allows us and our guests to stay present and truly enjoy the day.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us. The dress code is formal, spring-inspired attire. We encourage men to wear suits or dress slacks paired with a button-down shirt. Women are invited to wear longer dresses in soft spring colors such as yellow, green, blue, purple, or similar shades.

Question

Are there any colours guests should avoid wearing?

Answer

Yes. Our bridal party will be wearing pink, so we kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing pink so they can truly stand out. Additionally, we ask that guests avoid wearing white, ivory, cream, or any similar light shades traditionally reserved for the bride. Thank you for helping us maintain the look and feel of our special day!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love all of the children in our lives, we have chosen to make this an adults-only celebration. We kindly ask that only the guests listed on your invitation attend. If you have any questions, please reach out.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP through our wedding website on Zola using the RSVP tab. Simply enter your name exactly as it appears on your invitation and follow the prompts to submit your response. If you have any issues or questions, feel free to reach out to us directly.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 16th. If we do not receive your response by this date, we will assume you are unable to attend and will finalize our plans accordingly.

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

The church has its own designated parking lot. For the reception, there are several public parking lots and garages within a 2–4 minute walking distance. Nearby options include the Park Riverside public parking lot (3-minute walk), Riverside Centre Parking (4-minute walk), and the 3685 Main St. Garage (2-minute walk). There is also a smaller parking lot located directly across from the venue. Street parking is available as well.

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

We are currently gathering responses to arrange a hotel block. If you are interested in staying at a hotel, please indicate this on our website when you RSVP. Once we finalize the block, we will share the hotel details and booking information with those who expressed interest.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered on Amazon and Target. We have also included a honeymoon fund on our website for those who wish to contribute to our first adventure as newlyweds.
