Best Man
Steven's Bro. World class husband, father and friend. He also definitely made Steven end his last spring break of college early because he threw a party and the cops came. The guy that everyone wants to be around or aspires to be. Excels at gardening, sports and especially Christmas.
Best Man
Coleman's biggest cheerleader in his life is his younger brother. Even when Coleman has friends over and would beg Christian not to run around in only tighty whities until the knowing better age of 10, brotherly love prevails.
Best Woman
From Germany to Japan, Katie's been firing it up with Steven for a couple of decades now. She's the gal that makes you find hope in the face of the hard things, the person you want by your side when the shit hits the fan and the friend you can survive violent food poisoning with at Disneyworld and live to laugh about it. There's never a marg, bowl of queso or laugh left behind.
Best Woman
The Jersey Girl who helps Co-Captain Coleman's life with humor, generosity, and love. From Ithaca to NYC roommate to 'can't do life without' best friend. There's no beach chair, beer pong, or snapback left behind here.
Groomswoman
Fellow owl, gamer, dragon slayer and lightsaber enthusiast, Jen has been a ride or die for Steven since before he could legally get his hands on a marg - and when he finally could, the first one he made was for her. Steven has photo evidence of that night and almost used it instead of this sensible picture but knew that Jen probably would have killed him - with the afore mentioned lightsaber.
Groomswoman
Coleman and Rebecca began as arch- enemies at a young age, gunning for the same Gospel solos at St. Rita's. But once a cantor was shared between the two, the best friendship blossomed. Now, Coleman can't imagine his life without with best friend Rebecca. Legend has it they still duet on full moons.
Groomswoman
Has wand, will travel. Steven and Theresa met at a brain injury rehabilitation center - and if you ever worked at Galveston Island Musicals, you understand. Epic friend, Sondheim approved fashionista and the gal that shows up when you need her most and shows up hard. She'll help you bury the body and look good doing it.
Groomswoman
Since being sworn into the Ithaca Theatre "Greek Life" as siblings and needing to carry his sister due to her sprained ankle, Kelly and Cole have been synonymous. Now they navigate life together in New York. Except if the Bengals and Steelers are playing, then the bloodline ceases to exist.
Groomswoman
Fellow Texan StephGib1 has been a glamorous laugh riot for Steven's entire NYC life. From shutting down bars in the Lower East side to Christmas morning pastry baking, she's always there when you need her, marg in hand, heart on sleeve.
Groomswoman
Once upon a time, a Catholic boy and Jewish girl shared a school bus and became friends. Years later, Courtney has become a pillar in Coleman's life, mostly based on love of theatre, basements, campfires, whiskey, and Dayton, Ohio.
Groomswoman
A fateful, hilarious gig in Philadelphia (complete with ballgowns, tuxedoes and fluorescent lighting straight from hell's waiting room) sealed this friendship for life. A masterclass in loyalty, O has spent a decade opening doors for Steven. On the rare occasion one wouldn't budge, she'd kick it down - in five inch heels.
Groomsman
Since meeting, no turn in Coleman's life is missing Mr. Anthony. They have lived everywhere together: Ithaca, The Octagon, The Kiki, London, Etc. They have even taken their musical act on the road together, most recently performing, without Delta's Consent, at the Detroit Airport fountains. Christmas carols were sung on a stage reserved for a madrigal group that cancelled. A few bucks were even thrown at their feet on this snowy eve.
Officiant
If you're here, you probably know that Steven and Coleman's first date was something special. Despite a bumpy start when Steven's card got declined at the bar where they met, it took a positive turn when they spent the second half of it at NY fashion week - where Aly was handling the PR. She had a gut feeling about this guy Steven brought and as a surprise, put them on the front row for runway shows that night. Thanks to that (and about four old fashioneds at Merchant's afterwards) the greatest date in the history of west 17th street occurred. Not only was Aly was there cheering them on from (actual) day one, she introduced Asbury Park to Steven and Coleman and is a big part of why we'll all be together there. This pic was taken minutes after she was asked her to officiate the wedding.
