We're so excited to celebrate with you!

We went to school together but never spoke to each other. I knew of him, but he had never knew who I was. Over a decade after graduating high school, and many failed relationships, I decided to give online dating another shot. I came across his profile and recognized him from high school. I had always thought he was pretty cute, but out of my league.. but I sent him a message anyway. We messaged back and forth for a few days, then he asked me out on a date. We went bowling and had a couple drinks, and there was a connection between us. After our third date I asked "so are we like boyfriend and girlfriend now or what?", and his response was "uhh.. sure.. yeah." And the rest is history, haha.

He's a big movie guy, and I like movies too. We decided to go to a drive in movie theater in Eden NC for a triple feature. Him, our dog Fernando, and I were all cuddled up in the back of his jeep watching the first movie: Angry birds 2. I fell asleep near the end but woke up just before it ended. When the credits were rolling I said we should take Fernando for a potty break. As I was looking for my shoes, the inside of the jeep lit up with sparkles like a disco ball. I look at Steven and he had a ring held out in a box that had a little light shining on it, making the light display. He asked me to marry him and I immediately said yes!! I couldn't stop smiling and kissing him, lol. We didn't stay much longer after that, we were both tired and the second movie sucked.
