Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have two hotels with reserved room blocks in Downtown Chicago, which are both within 10 to 20 minutes of the venue by car. There is also the Midway Hotel Center, which includes many affordable hotels next to Midway Airport and is within 20 to 30 minutes of the venue by car. Details on all of these are listed on the "Travel" page. There are also AirBnbs, VRBOs, and other hotels available throughout the city. Shuttle service to and from the venue will be available at the Allegro Royal Sonesta Hotel.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend taking either our provided shuttle service, a rideshare, or public transit to and from the venue. Street parking is available near the venue, but not guaranteed. We want you to safely party as much as possible!

Question

Can I bring someone whose name isn’t on the RSVP list or envelope?

Answer

No, sorry :(

Question

Tell me about the venue!

Answer

Thalia Hall is a 134-year-old landmark theater in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood where Steven and Brianna have had countless memories seeing live music over the years, both before entering each others’ lives and since. It was a popular gathering space at the turn of the 20th century, and later a movie theater, before sitting vacant for many years. It was brought back to vibrant life just over a decade ago, and some names who have since graced its stage include André 3000, Bill Murray, George Clinton, Keanu Reeves, Lisa Fischer, Mavis Staples, Margo Price, Olivia Rodrigo, Smashing Pumpkins, St. Vincent, Sturgill Simpson, and The Zombies.
