Question

Our Brief Story and Future

Answer

Steven and Blaire met as many couples do these days... online. Though not prefered its how the world works these days. Steven was attending medical school in New York and Blaire was in Utah, which made things a bit difficult. Many video calls and visits by Blaire to NY and work by both to have a long distance relationship for their future forever someone led to this day. After graduating and moving back to Idaho in Nov. The two were able to see each other more frequently with trips back and forth to UT and ID. After a trip to Cancun Steven decided he couldn't live without the most amazing woman he ever met and proposed valentine's weekend. Steven will start residency in internal medicine at Eastern Idaho Medical Regional Center in Idaho Falls at the end of June and will be there for 3 years. Blaire will continue with her tax accounting firm remotely. We are looking forward to our lives together and celebrating with each of you!

Question

How did Steven Propose?

Answer

To say Valentine's weekend was a whirlwind is an understatement. The weekend before Valentine's day Steven was traveling down to UT to visit Blaire. He wanted to meet her at work to see her office and then go to lunch. Unfortunately Blaire never made it to work as she was rear ended on the freeway and her car was totaled! Luckily everyone involved was alright, but it gave everyone a scare. Steven had dressed up in his suit and brought flowers to surprise Blaire at her office. However since that didn't happen he had to wait at her parent's house until Blaire and her father arrived. He came out dressed up with the flowers, but did not propose yet. Later that evening they went to a fancy dinner since it was Valentine's day and the one year anniversary for Blaire and Steven. It was very nice and the two dressed very classy. Still no proposal. The next day Steven had planned a "surprise" Blaire was not tipped off as to what was happening and of course was unprepared to look cute for the proposal (Steven kept saying we were going to get really messy so Blaire didn't want to get nice clothes dirty). We did a couples cake decorating class (Which Steven did great at and Blaire is good at doing taxes..). After everyone left Steven nervously pulled out a ring and proposed. The class teacher was shocked. Blaire obviously said yes. The two went to a nice (though not as fancy as the night before) dinner to celebrate and that leads us up to today. So a weekend that started with a bang and ended with some bling and a start of a beautiful life. We are excited to share our journey and happiness with you.
