Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that you dress Semi-Formal for the ceremony and reception. ***Please keep in mind it will be very cold during the outdoor ceremony (which will last between 15-25 minutes). Be sure to bring a coat and shoes that will keep your toes warm.***

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 1st, 2022.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered for some gifts through our wedding website - please visit the Registry tab for more information. There is also a honeymoon fund and other various cash funds set up through this website. However, if you would like to contribute directly to us please use the Venmo and Zelle accounts below: Venmo: Username - Bianka-Olsen Zelle: Phone Number - 847-219-2172 Steven Additionally, we are registered through Amazon. You can find that link on this website's Registry tab, as well.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

When you RSVP through the website, the portal will tell you exactly who is invited and if you are allotted a guest.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! Please alert us to this information when you are filling out your RSVP.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome. Please use your own discretion on whether or not you think they will disturb the short ceremony. If so, the couple asks that you do stay back in the lodge and join us for the reception shortly after.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is free parking offered by the lodge where the ceremony and reception are taking place.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please visit the Travel tab on our wedding website for more information on lodging. If you do decide to stay at the Retreat at Mount Charleston, your room will be located just a short walk from the ceremony and reception hall.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

You will need to provide your own transportation if you stay anywhere other than The Retreat on Charleston Peak - the wedding venue.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

When you log into the RSVP tab on the wedding website using your name, it will automatically show any events that you need to RSVP to.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is currently estimated to begin around 3pm, but this could change once we get closer to the date, depending on the sunset and lighting. Please check back for more info as the wedding day approaches.
