Steven and I met during COVID. What was a conversation due to being stuck inside grew into something so immensely beautiful, I still cannot believe it. We would talk everyday about random things. He would have a list of questions to get to know me better and I had the same. After all of the questions were done, you'd normally think the magic would go away but that did not happen. Steven joined the Army again and our relationship became long distance. Through the different schools he went through and being stationed in different places, our love only grew. When he came stateside, we moved in together in El Paso, Texas. Some say it is one of the most difficult part of a relationship to learn to live together, but it was the easiest. We fell into a rhythm and I knew he is everything I ever wanted plus some. We traveled the country, experiencing different states and going to different national parks. On 10/4/2024 we got engaged and due to his deployment wanted to get married prior to him leaving. On 10/10/2024 we went to the courthouse and got married. Now in front of our family and friends, we want to say our vows to the world and universe. We hope to see you there as we get married not just for a sheet of paper, but for the love we share.
