New York Transit Museum

This fun museum is a short walk from the Brooklyn Hilton. One highlight is the chance to see historic subway cars up close.

Brooklyn Heights Promenade

Montague Street & Pierrepont Place, Brooklyn Heights, NY 11201

One of our favorite places to go for a leisurely walk! The Brooklyn Heights promenade is walkable from the Brooklyn Hilton and makes a for a great daytime stroll before the wedding. Along the way you'll walk through a cute and historic neighborhood. Check out the shops on Montague Street!

Brooklyn Museum

200 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, NY 11238

The Brooklyn Museum is famous for its diverse and interesting collection celebrating art, artifacts, and design. The space is lovely too. Anthony loves their Egyptian art!

Prospect Park Zoo

450 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11225

If you're traveling with children, you may want to consider the Prospect Park Zoo. It's a short cab ride from the area in which we'll be staying. You have to check out the Prairie Dog exhibit!

The Red Hook Winery

175 Van Dyke Street, Red Hook, NY 11231

For adults traveling to Brooklyn, we'll recommend the Red Hook Winery. It's got a beautiful, waterfront location for sipping and relaxing, with views of the Statue of Liberty. The winery is next to a cidery and brewery, so there's options galore for a drink.

Industry City

220 36th Street, Sunset Park, NY 11232

One of our favorite places for shopping, dining, and sometimes even dancing! Industry City is a massive space with artists showcasing their wares, independent boutiques, and on-site restaurants, bakeries, cafe, and distilleries. It's a great way to spend an afternoon before the wedding. Industry City is accessible from all recommended hotels by taxi.

Di Fara Pizza

1424 Avenue J, Midwood, NY 11230

Some of Brooklyn's most inconic pizza. The original Di Fara location is tucked away in a residential neighborhood. Either consider taking a cab, or taking the Q train the Avenue J stop. Di Fara's is a somewhat small pizza shop, so you may find yourself grabbing a slice and going for a stroll. That said, you'll be hard-pressed to find better pizza.

L&B Spumoni Gardens

2725 86th Street, Gravesend, NY 11223

One of Brooklyn's other most iconic pizzas. L&B is famous for its square slice and we recommend that's the one you try. They have a fun outdoor seating area and this is another family friendly option. Beyond the pizza, you may want to try their namesake spumoni. For the unitiated, spumoni is an Italian ice cream with fruit and nuts. L&B's features vanilla, chocolate, and pistachio ice cream blended with nuts and cherries.
