Steven and Alessandra both grew up in Rockville Centre, NY, and went to South Side High School. Steven was an overachiever. The quarterback, the captain of the football team, and the lacrosse MVP. Ali, on the other hand, was a runner, dancer, and into the arts. With the two year age gap, they missed each other completely. Steven was focused on sports, Ali was focused on going to rock concerts. Somehow, some way and by the grace of Hinge and Tinder Ali and Steven matched in 2023 and have been inseparable ever since. Ali's first words to Steven: Are you just going to match with me on every dating app? Steven's response: As many times as it takes to get a date. From there, they dove into how they both looked familiar and realized they mutually knew so many people... grew up practically around the block... and somehow still never met. They call it the invisible string theory, and it worked for them for sure!
