Samoset has quite a lot to offer! Golf course, Spa, pool, basketball and tennis courts, walking trails, shuffleboard, volleyball, badminton, croquet, corn hole, playground, and disc golf are all onsite. Food and Drink options include La Bella Vita, Enoteca Wine Bar & Lounge, Splash Pool Bar, and Clubhouse Grill.
Local Restaurants
There are many great local restaurants close to Samoset. Rockland Cafe, In Good Company, Flatbread, Primo Restaurant, Ada's Kitchen have all been recommended!
Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse
Right on the edge of Samoset's property. This will be in the background of our ceremony, but highly recommend walking down the pier sometime over the weekend!
Owls Head Lighthouse
20 minutes from Samoset - take in the lighthouse and the views! This is where the Bride and Groom had their engagement photos taken. Please note there are 53 stairs to get up to the lighthouse.
Beech Hill Preserve
5 minutes from Samoset Resort, this conservation property has great trails and amazing views!
Cellardoor Winery
Enjoy a glass of wine, or several, at Cellardoor Winery. If you are in town early, we are planning on going to Cellardoor if you would like to join - the more the merrier!
Birch Point Beach State Park
The epitome of mid-coast Maine beach

The Bride grew up going to this park - many a photos of young Jessica here! Incredible views!
