After a terrible job, Steven moved to Nantucket to work under a family friend. He spent his spring and summer days, busy in the kitchen of the Westmoor Club. Not wanting long drives to dates anymore, Sammy updated her Bumble profile to only match with people within 5 miles. Somehow, the algorithm glitched and Sammy and Steven matched despite being 90 miles apart. After a few flirty messages, Steven's work schedule became so busy that he stopped responding. Sammy waited a month for a cute boy to reply and decided she'd waited long enough and it was time to shoot her shot by writing a limerick. "There once was a boy on Nantucket..." Soon, her close proximity dates were canceled so Sammy could drive 2 hours to Hyannis and take an hour ferry to spend a few days on a tiny island, with a handsome man, once a week.
