I’ll never forget the day we met. A good friend of ours, Jack, had the great idea of bringing me(K) along to hang out with some of his friends. Shortly after entering the friend’s apartment, I was taken aback by Stevens bright smile. We barely said 2 words to each other the first time we met and continued to bump into each other while hanging out with mutual friends. Fast forward to New Year’s Eve of 2018, and we decided to share a kiss (our first) when the ball dropped! That was the true beginning of it all. Steven later asked me to be his girlfriend on January 13th and we’ve been by each other’s sides ever since.

We were with family on a Norwegian cruise to the Caribbeans when Steven popped the big question! Not many people knew this at the time, but I was 3 months pregnant with Gianna and just hadn’t spread the news yet. Well, one day during this trip we had visited Coki Beach in St. Thomas and we had just gotten all set up. I was laying in the lounge chair when Steven suggested that we should go for a walk and take some photos. I had no suspicions on what he was up to even though this was very out of character for him. Me, being pregnant and in the hot weather, put up a fuss but eventually agreed to go on this walk. Eventually Steven, my mother, and I came up to this rock wall and we started to take some pictures when Steven sneakily got down on one knee, and ask for my hand in marriage!
