Matron of Honor
Tiffanie and Ella met in 2019 at Fort Stewart, Georgia during a mutual friend's potluck. While 2020 distanced a lot of people, it only brought Tiffanie and Ella closer together. From going to the beach on a random Wednesday or going grocery shopping and immediately ordering Japanese takeout afterwards, their friendship truly blossomed when the world shut down. While there are 1,651.6 miles (yes, it got Googled) between the two of them now, they still blow up each other's phones with texts, calls, voice memos and Instagram reels of recipes they'll probably never try. If you see her at the wedding, conversation topics could include: Krav Maga, her obsession with Starbucks, and the outfit she welcomed her husband home from deployment.
Maid of Honor
Haneen and Ella met Sophomore year in Chemistry class. Funny enough, Haneen thought Ella was obnoxious and Ella thought Haneen had an RBF. It wasn't until they were forced to partner together on an English project when they realized that they actually liked one another and they were inseparable from that day. Their early years consisted of frequent trips to the beach for bonfires and evenings after school at Haneen's house for her mom's Iraqi home cooked meals. Now, whenever they are able to see each other, Haneen and Ella enjoy catching up over a cold beer at Alvarado Street Brewery and going on dates to their favorite sushi joint, Sushi Time. If you see her at the wedding, conversation topics could include: Wine, her most recent PR at the gym, and pharmaceutical drugs.
Bridesmaid
Jess and Ella met in 2019 at Fort Stewart, Georgia when she and her husband, Dan, hosted a potluck at their home. The Pennock's house quickly became a home away from home. Whether it was a girls day to the beach, carving pumpkin's on the porch, celebrating friendsgiving together, enjoying a bottle (or two?) of wine together, or getting a flat tire on the way to St. Simon's beach, (Don't worry, they got to the beach... Eventually.) time spent together was memorable to say the least! We won't get into the night of the military ball at Five Guys or buzzed paintball tag... If you see her at the wedding, conversation starters include: Her art and her mug collection.
Bridesmaid
Cianelle is Ella's oldest niece! They are only separated by 10 years, so they really grew up together more so as friends. Ella's favorite memories with Cianelle were when Cianelle would break out in improvised dance as a little girl. Growing up, they would spend time together on family trips and endless hours in the pool. When Ella got her car, she would drive up to Livermore and the two of them would go on ice cream and movie dates and listen to Charlie Puth or Imagine Dragons in the car together. If you see her at the wedding, conversation topics include: her most recent endeavor to Italy to study abroad or the most recent book she's been reading.
Best Man
Steven and Allen met in 2013 at Automotive school in Sacramento area. The two bonded in smog class, playing pokemon games on their phones instead of listening to the lectures. They became great friends over time, and Allen convinced Steven to attend church, leading to the beginning of his walk with Christ.
Groomsman
Maui and Steven have worked together at Porsche for about 9 years. Over the years, their relationship went from coworkers to good friends. They often share lunch breaks together, skip the lighthearted lunch chit chat and jump into deep theological discussions and seek advice on life decisions.
Groomsman
Brandon is Steven's oldest brother. They had a typical brotherly relationship growing up and became closer as they got older, they still connect and chat frequently about eachothers lives, and share some common interests in their tradesman work.
Groomsman
Chris is the middle brother, they have lived far apart for the majority of their lives, but even through the distance, they still visit when they can, and have eachothers back as if they grew up side by side
