Coquette was opened by Michael Stoltzfus in 2008. Our Garden District building was built in the late 1880’s and has been among other things a residence, a grocery store and auto parts store. We offer contemporary southern cuisine with an emphasis on locally sourced product and international inspiration. We strive to set the tone with gracious, warm and genuine service to match our celebrated food, wine and cocktail programs.
The signature, all-day restaurant, named for the patron saint of cooks, is an ode to coastal Italian cooking with regional New Orleans influences as well. The timeless design is a bit grand with lush modern touches and includes outdoor seating. Menu highlights include Grilled Creole Oysters, Scampi Risotto, and Gulf Flounder Piccata.
