Please visit the Travel and Accommodations section of the wedding website. Resources such as Rome2Rio and local bus/train websites are most helpful when planning travel options.
We absolutely love that you want to celebrate with us! Due to space limitations, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to limit our guest list. Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer plus ones for everyone. As we receive RSVP's we will take inventory of space. We hope you understand and still feel just as special as you are to us. Please reach out for any questions you may have with this. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
We love your kids - we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off!
ASAP!!!! There are a limited amount of hotels in the area it is important to book as soon as possible. Airbnb and VRBO have very limited options in Ojai. Please loon in the "Accommodations" section of the website for suggestions.
I recommend calling the hotel directly to check for availability. If they’re fully booked, you might consider staying in Oak View or Ventura. Ventura is about a 25-minute drive down the coast and offers plenty of Airbnbs as well as hotels. Please note that wedding shuttles will only operate from Ojai, not Ventura.
Shuttles will be running from Ojai! Primary pickup locations for local guests include The Ojai Valley Inn, Lavender Inn, Rancho Inn, and Capri Hotel. More details to come. Guests staying in Ventura will need to arrange their own transportation to and from the wedding.
For guests staying in Ojai, shuttles will take you to the after-party once the wedding concludes, and then back into town afterward. For guests coming from Ventura, you’ll need to arrange your own transportation to the wedding. After the celebration ends at 10 PM, shuttles will be available to take you to the Deer Lodge for the after-party. Please note, you’ll be responsible for arranging your transportation back to Ventura from the after-party.
Rideshare options like Uber are very limited in Ojai, especially later in the evening. Please keep this in mind when planning your accommodations if you choose to stay outside the suggested hotels.
For local loved ones that will be driving themselves (responsibly) there will be parking at the event as well as street parking.
Earthy & Neutral Cocktail Attire: Inspired by Ojais natural palette, we encourage earthy neutrals, muted organic tones, natural textures, and pieces with personality. Think warm taupes, sage green, muted rose, terracotta, cocoa brown, stone blue, and soft misty greys. Dresses, jumpsuits, and polished separates are all great. For men, a suit is great, but tailored trousers with a well-fitting shirt, whether patterned, textured, or layered are equally welcome. Please Note: *It gets chilly in the evening so bring extra layer *The ground is flat gravel (not grass), so choose your shoes accordingly.
Yes! The wedding venue will be outdoors. We are unable to predict the weather but the average temperature in Ojai in November for a typical day ranges from a high of 70°F (21°C) to a low of 48°F (9°C). There will be heaters at the wedding but bring a layer.
We’ll have something for everyone—Vegan, Pescatarian, Gluten-Free, and Carnivore options included! While we are not doing a formal sit down dinner, be sure to choose your preference on the RSVP.
