We did it! Time to celebrate!

It was April 2, 2007 on the evening of the NCAA March Madness basketball tournament, when Florida beat Ohio in the championship game, that their crazy worlds collided. Each were out with their group of friends catching the game at Cabo Cantina in Pacific Beach. Their tables were next to each other and through the course of the game the guys started to creep and befriend the girls. One of Steve’s best friends, whom they’ve called cupid (aka Luiey) let Monica know that Steve thought she was cute. Luiey introduced them, and sparks flew....the rest is history.

Through thick and thin, sicknesses and health, they have been there for each other and have weathered many storms. Their love has been fierce, and they have grown together in so many ways making them stronger than ever. This fall Steve proposed to Monica in his own sweet, special way. He included the puppies and asked her to be his wife. She was swept off her feet and flung herself into an undoubted YES! This is the moment they have been waiting for and they are excited to share it with their closest friends and family.

After being twice canceled due to COVID-19, Steve and Monica eloped on the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia on April 11, 2022! Now, they would love to celebrate their nuptials with close family and friends!
