FAQs

Question

Why are you getting married in Ireland?

Answer

Due to recent geopolitical tensions between the US and Canada, we decided to get married in a neutral zone where we both have heritage and have visited together. And because we thought it would be fun!

Question

Are children allowed at your wedding?

Answer

Yes! For those of you brave enough to endure a transatlantic flight with children, we applaud you. Your children will be allowed to participate in wedding festivities. There are some rooms in the Clonabreany Courtyard with extra room for families so please let us know if you intend to bring your children.

Question

Am I required to stay at the Clonabreany Courtyard?

Answer

No, you are not required to stay on site. There are other hotels and BnBs in the area and a local taxi service you can use if preferred.

Question

A European wedding in August? Won't it be too hot?

Answer

Ireland is quite cool! Average temperatures in August are in the mid to low 60s F/14 to 16 C. Bring layers and expect there to be rain at some point!
