Steve’s parents have graciously offered their backyard for our wedding reception. The reception area will be tented, so we plan to have the reception in rain, etc. Please be mindful of chosen footwear (heel type!) as we will be on grass. For dress code, semi-formal attire that is comfortable for the weather is requested. This means- if it’s super hot out, don’t worry about wearing a heavy suit jacket. If it’s chilly, throw something knit on. Just come and have fun either way! An open bar will be provided to our guests with beer, wine, and some limited liquor options. A vegetarian meal option will be provided in addition to non-veg.

What if the weather is really bad?

Answer

This is an outdoor event, but we have tented the reception area in the case of rain. If there is a hurricane or other severe weather forecasted that prevents tenting, we will update guests via the website and/or text message.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Due to the small size of our event, we did not block out rooms, so feel free to book a room where you feel most comfortable. There’s a wide selection of hotels nearby across Avalon, Wildwood and Cape May.
