FAQs

Question

The low down on our wedding:

Answer

Hi friends! As you have probably heard, our wedding will not be the traditional sort. We are basically throwing a big party where we just so happen to be pledging our lives to each other. The party will start with a cocktail hour vibe, and we plan to have our actual "ceremony" around 5:30. Lloyd's will open up doors at 5:00, so no need to be early. We promise- you won't be late!

Question

Can my kids come?

Answer

This will be an adult party - the drinks will be flowing! So we are limiting the kid invites to a select few family members whose kids are playing a part in the wedding. If your kid is invited, it will be indicated on your invite. We would love for you parents to use this as a fun date night out!

Question

What's the parking sitch?

Answer

Parking at Lloyds is extremely limited. So getting an uber or carpooling is highly encouraged. There is also plenty of neighborhood street parking surrounding the restaurant. For anyone who is not local or wants to party hard and get home safe - we will be covering ubers for anyone who needs it! The code to redeem the voucher is: rTlLesnGxpE

Question

What should I Wear?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire, but we want to encourage everyone to wear whatever makes you want to party! Hot pink suit? Go for it. Fringe and feathers? Amazing. Little black dress? It's a classic for a reason. YOU DO YOU!

Question

What's on the menu?

Answer

Lloyds is a pizza parlor, so the pies will be abundant. That being said, we will also have salad, dips, apps and desserts flowing. There should be something there for everyone.

Question

Pittsburgh Cookie Table? What's that?

Answer

The cookie table is as much a part of Pittsburgh culture as Heinz Ketchup and Primanti Brothers. The cookies are homemade by family and friends as a gift of love for the new couple. No one knows the exact origin of the tradition, but it has made across Pennsylvania and to surrounding states. We will have a cookie table as an ode to Steve's home state, and fave city - shoutout Duquesne! If you would like to participate, let Kacey know.
