Kick up your boots and two-step your way down Broadway, where live music pours out of every honky tonk. Rooftop bars = perfect for a little yeehaw with a view.
Music Legends & History:
Tip your hat to country greats at the Country Music Hall of Fame, catch a show at the Grand Ole Opry or Ryman Auditorium, and pay your respects to the Man in Black at the Johnny Cash Museum. Don’t forget to fuel up with hot chicken, BBQ, and maybe a glass (or two) at Belle Meade Winery.
Landmarks & Outdoors:
The Parthenon: Because Nashville thought, “Why not build a Greek temple with a Southern drawl?” Bicentennial Capitol Mall: Featuring a 200-foot fountain and a Tennessee map big enough to stomp across in your boots. Radnor Lake State Park: Trade your cowboy hat for a ball cap and enjoy a morning hike in the wild.
Day Trips Outside the City:
Jack Daniel’s Distillery (Lynchburg): A 90-minute ride to where the whiskey magic happens—cheers, y’all! Civil War Sites in Franklin: Step back in time at Lotz House, Carter House, and Carnton (40-min drive). Downtown Franklin: Stroll through charming shops and restaurants—think Wild West meets Southern chic.
