Due to unforeseen circumstances we’ve made the decision to postpone our wedding from May 23, 2020 to September 18, 2020. We wish all the best for you and your family and we cannot wait to celebrate with you! All our Love - Catherine & Steve
Every year the Costa family takes their family vacation to Wildwood, New Jersey-a tradition that is so so close to their hearts, a second home to them. This was Steve's 3rd time joining in on the tradition. Each year the Costa's go to their favorite restaurant down there & everyone gets a bit more dressed up for this dinner. Catherine's sister, Kelli, suggested that the family takes pictures at the beach before dinner-if you know Kelli, she loves pictures, taking them, hanging them on every inch of her walls, so this was very like her. As Steve & Catherine get ready for the beach & dinner, Catherine changes her outfit a few times. Steve mentions, "why don't you wear something that matches me?" Hm a little odd, but she brushed it off. To no one's surprise, Catherine was the last one ready & the whole family was waiting on her to go to the beach. Steve grabs Catherine's hand very tight. Everyone, her parents, sisters and their significant others, nieces and nephews, walks to the beach. They begin walking & Catherine looks at her little sister, Nicole, who appears to be filming her. Now suspicious Catherine casually looks at Steve's tight baby blue pants searching for a box. Nothing. She brushes it off again. With Steve's tight grip on her hand, he walks a bit faster & pulls them ahead of everyone. He looks at her as they're walking, with tears in his eyes says, "You know how much I love you right." As they walk, he goes, "I have something to ask you." Catherine looks up at a banner hanging on a pier that reads "Catherine, will you marry me?" The ring was hidden in the sand & before Steve could even find it Catherine said "Yes!". Steve puts the ring on her finger and says, "there are some people here to see you." Steve's parents & Catherine's best friend & her now husband, secretly drove from Pittsburgh to Wildwood to be there. Catherine unable to contain her happiness, was now balling, thinking this was absolutely perfect.
