Denver Museum of Nature & Science
Only a short drive from Evergreen, the Museum of Nature and Science is fun for all ages! We have spent hours here exploring the exhibits and watching Imax movies!
Chautauqua Trail
Looking for a fun afternoon? Look no further! Boulder is where Steve went to undergrad, and where the both of us have spent a lot of wonderful afternoons. Take your time strolling down Pearl Street - my favorite book store of all time is here (Boulder Bookstore) and some of our favorite breweries are in the area. Have a beer at Wild Woods Brewery and grab lunch at Avery Brewery. Go for a hike in the beautiful Chautauqua Park, the arches hike is our favorite!
Estes Park
One of our favorite places to explore and hike, Estes Park is the perfect place to visit! It's a little ways from Evergreen (over an hour drive) but the views, the hikes, and the quaint town are worth the drive!
Zoo Entrance
The Denver Zoo is a great place to wander for an afternoon!
