Best Day Ever!

Callie and Steve first met in 2012 at Cal Lutheran when they were Peer Advisors for new students. The week before orientation, they participated in Prep Week, during which they were basically forced to bond with each other (and the 48 other student mentors) via icebreakers and group outings. When school started that semester, they would run into each other as Steve left his job on campus and Callie headed to class. Steve found out during one of these run-ins that Callie was baking cookies that evening for her group of students, and Callie found out Steve loves cookies. She tried to stop by with the extras that evening, but he wasn't in his dorm. He eventually caught up with her (and the leftover cookies) and they ended up hanging out the rest of the night. Before he left her dorm, he got up the courage to ask her out, and the rest is history!
