Hi Loves!

Bri and Steve first met August 2018 when Bri's roommate (and Maid of Honor), Kaitlynn, dragged her to Margarita's for dinner/drinks with some new co-workers of hers. Steve kept trying to figure out this new girl sitting next to him while Bri was annoyed that someone kept talking over the finale of the Bachelorette ;) A few more group hangs later and Steve went home to New York for a week. On the way back, he swung by Holy Doughnut and surprised Bri at the gym! They finally exchanged phone numbers and decided to go to Mason's for dinner (where they ended up chatting on a picnic table until they closed!) Six quick (or long, depending on who you ask haha!) months later they started dating and, as they say, here we are today!

Steven and Bri officially started dating January 21, 2019. About 4 months later, Kait and Bri's apartment was going to be under construction for "2 weeks" and they needed to move out during that time. Steve graciously offered for Bri and her puppy, Gillette, to stay with him in his apartment down in Camden (about 1.5 hours away) ... 6 months later the construction was done "enough" that the apartment was ready again. Steve and Bri moved back to Veazie in December of 2019 until they bought their home 1.5 years later. Their relationship grew very fast and they just couldn't imagine life without the other anymore. Their mutual love of craft beer, going to the gym, doggo, being at the lake, and continuing to grow themselves individually has bonded them on many different levels.

On April 2nd, 2021 Steve and Bri were set to close on their first house together in Brewer, Maine! Steve's plan was to also put a ring on it that day (whiiiich Bri might have had suspisions about...). The day before, Bri was busy last minute packing (shocker!) and cleaning the apartment, prepping for the big move, when Kait texted her to take a break and meet her for an early dinner (can you maybe guess where...? If you said "Mason's?" you'd be right!). Reluctant to take a break and covered in dirt, sweat, and tears, Steve and Bri headed to Mason's to meet their friend. After dinner on their way back to their cars, Steve got down on one knee in the place he "should have kissed you that first night here". Bri, completely surprised and stumbling on about every possible thought in her brain ("I haven't showered!" "My car has a dent in it!" "Are you serious!!?") said YES!!!! OF COURSE!!!!
