We Promise, It’ll Be Worth the Wait!

In true Ashley and Steve fashion, we met at the Blues Winter Classic at Ballpark Village in Downtown St. Louis, doing what we do best- watching sports and having too much fun. I thought Steve was super cute so I asked him his name, found him after a prolonged search on Facebook, and sent him a message which he read months later. We went on a date in March and the rest is history😍

What seems like forever ago now, we went to Gulf Shores with my (Ashley) family, to the beach I grew up going to every year for our family vacation. After a few days of other events taking Steve’s spotlight - Tara getting the news she passsd her boards, my dads birthday, a night of karaoke - Steve told everyone we should take pictures on the beach. We all took pictires as a family on a sand dune then took turns taking pics of just my parents, Tara and Connor, then Steven and I. He asked me to marry him in front of my family (and about 100 people watching from their condo balconies) as the sun set, making it incredibly memorable with the most important people in my life there with us!
