We met at a party in Newtown, CT. Ali's friend Sarah was throwing a one last bash prior to moving, and our mutual friend, Walter happened to invite his new roommate Steve. A few hours into the party, Steve walks in wearing boat shoes while carrying a 30 rack of Bud Heavy. Introductions are made, the party continues... eventually it occurred to Ali that this guy is pretty cute. The following conversation ensues: Ali: Do you have a 401 k account? Steve: Yes. Ali: Want to get dinner? I'll buy. Steve: Sure. We hung out the rest of the party and exchanged numbers at the end.. and the rest is history. Ali never bought Steve that dinner though.
