You can find information about the dress code for each event on the Schedule tab.
We are so excited to celebrate with our nearest and dearest! To keep our wedding intimate and meaningful, we're inviting only those listed on the invitation. If your name is on the invite, we would love for you to join us!
Although not required, this is highly recommended. We recommend renting a car to give you the most flexibility along your travels, especially if you are planning to visit any other town within Tuscany on your trip. As a reminder, shuttles will be provided to all three wedding events if you are staying at the accommodations listed on our site (coming soon).
Nope! You will be in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, away from the hussle and bussle of the big cities, with that comes country living and part of that means no Ubers. As there are no last minute taxi or Uber options in the Tuscan countryside, you will need to book your ground transportation to and from the Tuscan region in advance. Transportation will be provided from the preferred accommodation option provided on the ‘Travel & Accommodations’ page to all the wedding events (Welcome Party, Wedding, Pool Party & Brunch).
Although we love your little ones, this is an adult only affair!
We recommend arriving to your accommodation by the morning/afternoon of Friday, September 26th and checking out Monday, September 29th (if you are staying for the pool party!). Before/after you arrive, we recommend exploring other parts of Tuscany, Florence, Rome… or literally anywhere your heart desires!
Yes! See options below 1. Coop Grocery: 47 Via Grossetana, Sticciano Scalo, Toscana 58036 (2 mins from venue) 2. Conrad Grocery: 9 Viale Senegal, Grosseto, Toscana 58100 (15 mins from venue) 3. Braccagni Pharmacy: Braccagni, Grosseto 58100, Italy (7 mins from venue)
We recommend booking your flight AT LEAST 3-4 months in advance. 2025 is the year of Jubilee in Italy, and they expect a significant uplift in tourism, so the earlier the better to ensure the best rates and options! Do not forget to renew your passport if needed :) Our suggested airports are: - Florence (we will be flying into here) - Pisa - Rome
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place outdoors (weather permitting). The dancing portion of the evening will take place in an outdoor/indoor type of structure. We do recommend bringing a light jacket or cardigan, as it does get chilly in the evening!
Please note that traveling to Italy to attend our wedding is more than enough. We understand the travel is costly and time consuming. As such, gifts are not expected. If you feel strongly about gifting, however, we are registered with Zola. Please see the Registry page on our website for more information, it should be updated by April 1st!
As soon as possible, but please no later than April 30, 2025.
UPDATE: It looks as though is was pushed to 2026, but something worth double checking, as it's been changing frequently. The European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) is expected to begin operating in the first half of 2025. ETIAS is a new travel authorization system that will require citizens of around 60 countries and territories to apply for travel authorization before visiting 30 European countries for a short stay. Below I have listed the link for the application once available. etias.com/etias-requirements/etias-for-american-citizens
We're gathering info now and will update the website by March 26th, check back then for details!
