Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. We would love to see our friends and family dress up with us! Suit & tie, formal separates, and cocktail dresses (midi or long) are all welcome. Please no jeans, t-shirts, flip flops, or anything white/ivory/cream. This is not the Oscars, so tuxes are not necessary.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one it will appear on your invite and in your RSVP online. We want to keep our wedding intimate with our closest family and friends.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If your child is invited their name will appear on the invite as well as on your online RSVP card.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

You should arrive at the church no later than 2:30pm as the doors will close at 2:45pm in accordance with venue rules. Ceremony starts at 3:00!

Is there parking on site?

Answer

There is parking available at the church and reception venue. At the church, please park in the lots under the highway off of 17th street to the west of the church and enter the church through the doors at the top of the south stairs. At the reception, parking is available in the depot surface lot and underground garage for $30 a day. Entrance to the parking lot and garage are off of 5th Ave S

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No. Guests are encouraged to carpool if they are staying at the venue to minimize congestion at the church parking lot. Uber and Lyft are available for out of town guests.

Will weddings activities be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

For the safety, comfort, and convenience of all guests the ceremony and reception will be held indoors.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

At the Basilica, guests are not allowed to take photos. Please refrain from trying to break the rules as we have paid for full day wedding photo coverage and have the best professionals in place to capture the moments of the ceremony, allowing everyone present to fully enjoy the moment! At the reception, we will still have our photography team on site to capture formal photos, speeches, and first moments. Once the party is underway guest are encouraged to upload photos using the QR codes on the reception table signage.
