Pretty formal, but not black tie or anything. For men this means no tuxedos but suits welcome. You don't need to wear the jacket if you don't want to. At the very least, a nice button up shirt and slacks. For women, this means a dress or a very nice jumpsuit. Obviously no white or related colors- this includes extremely light colors that might photograph white. However, this is a spring, garden party themed wedding so feel free to embrace color!
The HARD deadline is March 14th. We need the accurate counts to coordinate with the venue and catering teams for details, final food purchases, etc. If you answer post-March 14th or not at all, we will assume you cannot come which is okay! If the RSVP on the website is confusing for you, just text Lauren or Trevor!
Yes and No. We'd rather not have phones in our reaction photos of Lauren walking down the aisle. There will be a period of 2-3 minutes after Lauren reaches Trevor at the top of the aisle for all the guests to snap as many pictures as they want. After that period is over, all ceremony pictures are left up to the photographer and her team (aka very talented people). Please don't be the awkward one caught breaking the rule when we receive our photos and video back! Just enjoy the ceremony!
Only the wedding party/family who is helping set up and break down are staying at the venue the night of the wedding. We only have the capacity for 18 people there. Everyone else and for every other night, if you need it, please see the "Travel" tab above for the hotel block information!
If you're driving in yourself, there is a grass parking lot in the far left corner of the property- you will see other cars there already. Ceremony will be in front of the house - don't worry you won't miss all the chairs because you have to drive past to get to the lot. If you're being dropped off, the driveway is long and circles around, so easy exit for your driver. Apologies, we will not have our own transportation.
Every event will be outdoors, but on the same property. There is grass, gravel, cobblestone, wood, and cement that we will be walking on. It will be the beginning of summer in the south, but the reception area has built-in fans, just in case. There will be refreshments nearby always.
Because we are having a micro-wedding and are capped at 60 people for the venue, only the people explicitly stated on the invitations are invited. We wish we could invite more, but we look forward to seeing our loved ones there.
Yes, there will be a limited bar. We are offering two types of beer, two types of cocktails (premade) which will be Lauren's Signature (Vodka Lemonade) and Trevor's Signature (Crown Royal and Blackberry Gingerale), and three types of wine. There will also be limited quantity so guests are welcome to bring their own! We have three giant coolers we are allowed to store it in at the venue. Just be mindful of how you're getting to where you're staying afterward!
We absolutely do not expect our loved ones to worry about bringing anything additional, especially because pretty much everyone is traveling some sort of distance. We have multiple options on our registry ranging in prices to be mindful of everyone's budget (we would appreciate anything and don't expect anything). We even have donation funds for various things like our home and honeymoon where you can spend however much you want! The registry also allows you to ship items directly to us through no hassle on your end!
Please text Lauren at (815) 440-6453 or Trevor at (804) 869-4383. To be honest, Lauren will be the one with the answers, most likely.
