FAQs

Question

What's the attire?

Answer

Pretty formal, but not black tie or anything. For men this means no tuxedos but suits welcome. You don't need to wear the jacket if you don't want to. At the very least, a nice button up shirt and slacks. For women, this means a dress or a very nice jumpsuit. Obviously no white or related colors- this includes extremely light colors that might photograph white. However, this is a spring, garden party themed wedding so feel free to embrace color!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Because we are having a micro-wedding and are capped at 60 people for the venue, only the people explicitly stated on the invitations are invited. We wish we could invite more, but we look forward to seeing our loved ones there.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, there will be a limited bar. We are offering two types of beer, two types of cocktails (premade) which will be Lauren's Signature (Vodka Lemonade) and Trevor's Signature (Crown Royal and Blackberry Gingerale), and three types of wine. There will also be limited quantity so guests are welcome to bring their own! We have three giant coolers we are allowed to store it in at the venue. Just be mindful of how you're getting to where you're staying afterward!

Question

Can I have my phone out during the ceremony?

Answer

Yes and No. There will be a period of 2-3 minutes after Lauren reaches Trevor at the top of the aisle for all the guests to snap as many pictures as they want. After that period is over, all ceremony pictures are left up to the photographer, her team, and the videographer. Please don't be the awkward one caught breaking the rule when we receive our photos and video back! Just enjoy the ceremony!

Question

Where do we stay?

Answer

Only the wedding party/family who is helping set up and break down are staying at the venue the night of the wedding. We only have the capacity for 18 people there. We are currently finding travel solutions for our far out-of-towners. Please let us know if you need special accommodations (i.e. wheelchair/stroller accessible).

Question

Am I supposed to bring a gift on the wedding day?

Answer

We absolutely do not expect our loved ones to worry about bringing anything additional, especially because pretty much everyone is traveling some sort of distance. We have multiple options on our registry ranging in prices to be mindful of everyone's budget (we would appreciate anything and don't expect anything). We even have donation funds for various things like our home and honeymoon where you can spend however much you want! The registry also allows you to ship items directly to us through no hassle on your end!
