Our Story

In October 2017, we got randomly grouped together for a project in one of our engineering classes. That random grouping would lead to homework meetups, coffee runs, late-night study sessions, pizza dinners, celebratory beers, two years of friendship, six years of dating, and most importantly, an A+ on that project. Oh, and also a lifetime of marital bliss. Throughout those two years of friendship, we both had a feeling we would be together in the end. When our friends would ask "If you were going to marry someone you knew right now, who would it be?" we would always answer each other. Of course, we would deny it for a while. Going into our fifth and final year at Wisconsin, we decided to live in a house together with our friends. Shortly after signing that lease, we started dating (yes, on Valentine's day). We moved to Colorado after graduating, and we've been pretty busy here: countless ski trips, mountain getaways, two Master's degrees, dinner dates, brewery stops, (still) coffee runs, too many apartment moves, and some amazing vacations have filled our past 4 years. On April 25th, Grant surprised Morgan by proposing on top of the Denver Clock Tower. She wasn't that surprised though because she's super smart, and he made her climb 18 flights of stairs to get to the top so it couldn't have been that much of a surprise. She said yes nonetheless!
