You wouldn't know it by looking at her, but Frankie is Emily's twin, older by 33 minutes. Their mom has always said if Frankie and Emily had a baby, it would look like their brother, Michael (see groomsmen).

Brian's older brother, Jason, has some big best man shoes to fill, since that was Brian's role at Jason's 2017 wedding. Jason used to call Brian "Wuss," but he was just jealous of Brian's athletic abilities.

Emily and Stacey became friends in Mr. Vroom's science class in 8th grade, though they were on the same rec soccer team in 2nd grade. This one time, they dressed up like each other for Halloween.
Jake Kohler

Brian has known Jake since elementary school and has actually lived with Jake longer than he's lived with Emily. Jake is the friend that will go out of his way for anyone and everyone.
Halli James-Ogasawara

At USY encampment in 2006, Halli kindly offered to swap beds so that Emily and Frankie could bunk together, and Halli and Emily were inseparable after that. They even spent one glorious year together at the University of Maryland.
Cory Meyer

Brian and Cory grew up in the same neighborhood until Brian's parents made him move, but luckily they still remained friends. Cory is the best golfer Brian knows, and they always enjoy talking about how their rounds went.
Taylor Kinsella

Emily and Taylor met at UMD freshman orientation and became fast friends. They lived together for a year and a half and sang in the same a cappella group, Mezumenet. They have gone to every Taylor Swift tour together since college.
Paul Hyer

Paul is another one of Brian's closest childhood friends. They always teamed up for beer pong, since Brian doesn't like beer, and Paul was willing to take one for the team and drink all the cups.
David Oliver

Emily and David met freshman year at a Rosh Hashanah dinner at Hillel and bonded over their shared passion for journalism, Grey's Anatomy and musicals. This one time, they got in a fight over a Yiddish course that neither one of them ended up taking.
Jeremy Fisher

Brian and Jeremy have known each other since kindergarten. Growing up, if you wanted to find Brian, there was a good chance he was at Jeremy's house or playing frisbee golf in Jeremy's neighborhood.
Maddie Stephens

Emily and Maddie made a fabulous reporter/producer team at WBOC-TV when they overlapped for a year before Emily moved to Philly. Fortunately, they stayed close and even ran a half marathon together.
Michael Stern

Michael is Emily's younger brother. He and Brian bonded over their shared love of Philly sports. This one time, they went underwear shopping together when they both forgot to bring extras on a family trip to Maryland.
