Unfortunately, Olympic National Park only allows camping in designated areas. NatureBridge is not a designated area. The closed campgrounds are Fairholme Campground (about 6-8 miles west on Hwy 101), and Log Cabin Resort campground (approximately 8 miles away on East Bench Road.)
Unfortunately, no. Iris and Aster will be watching the live stream from home (just kidding!)
We will work on the lodging assignments as the event gets closer, but attendees will be grouped with family/close friend groups in large cabins with shared bathrooms. It's not the Four Seasons but you'll be living among the trees within the summer season.
Please have fun, be comfortable, and don’t forget your swim suit. The wedding is semi formal with bright colors encouraged! Friday night is casual.
Swim suit, towels, extra blankets just in case, your best summer camp glam for the wedding night, dramatic floppy sun hats, sunscreen, bug spray, ghost stories, water bottle, toiletries.
About a 3 hr drive if you drive "around" and skip the ferry. Expect traffic during this busy summer season.
About 4-5 hours if you take a ferry, factoring in ferry wait times.
We will need help transporting stuff like ice, drinks, flowers, etc. If you will have extra space and want to lend a hand, let Carmen know.
Great question and trust me, this feels kind of strange but hear us out. We explored lots of options that would all require hotel stay which we figured would be much more expensive for everyone involved. Renting out the entire venue of NatureBridge is much more cost effective for everyone and allows us all more time to hang out, enjoy the Olympic National Park, and celebrate together. The fee is to help offset lodging and of course you can choose to stay somewhere else on the peninsula. Lodging payment can be made via Venmo to @carmen-vigil or sent via paper check.
AT&T wireless devices generally work on the campus. Verizon has been spotty. An emergency landline phone can be located in the Fireside Room in Rosemary Inn.
Linens and towels will be provided, but please be sure to bring your own toiletries and hand towels. (We’ll have extras in case you forget!) Definitely pack your swim suits, adventure shoes, warm clothes for night time, and sunscreen.
We do not— the best gift you could give us is joining us this summer!
