We are getting married!

Sterling and I met in High School back in 2013. We talked for awhile before we ended up dating. Since then he has been my best friend. All through high school we supported eachother with our sports and school. We continue to support each other in everything we do. I'm so excited to marry my high school sweetheart

We were visiting my grandma in California. The second night we were there we went out to a beautiful restaurant overlooking the ocean. We enjoyed dinner and dessert and then we all had the chance to open a little shell that my grandma had got for all of us. My amazing sister and her boyfriend opened theirs, followed by myself. Sterling opened his last and his had the best surprise of all. He asked me to stand up and got down on one knee. He asked if I would make him the happiest man in the world and asked if I would marry him. I immediately started crying and he knew what the answer was. I said "Yes". Everyone did great keeping the secret from me. It was a day I will never forget.
