Our story started with a life changing "swipe right" on The League. After our first date near Central Park, we shared a cab ride and learned we lived a block away from each other. Chase attributes this to narrowing down the app location radius to a minimum. After a couple dates in Midtown, a first kiss at divey Red Lion and dinner at his favorite dinner spot in the West Village, Buvette things moved quickly from there. I half jokingly invited him to a wedding in California not expecting him to actually fly across the country with me after a month of knowing each other but he did. He met my parents, joined us for my mom's birthday lunch and went to the wedding as "my friend". The highlight of the trip was Chase renting a yellow convertible that we drove on the PCH to LA while blasting Taylor Swift. We ended up at the Beverly Hills Hotel for a drink which would later become "our spot". It wasn't until later on that Chase admitted that trip was when he started to fall in love with me. It didn't take long before we both knew what this was becoming.

We both love traveling but our favorite place in the summer is Europe. We had visited the Amalfi Coast the year before and decided on Italy again for our upcoming trip. The day he proposed in Lake Como little things started to lead me to believe Chase was up to something. That morning, he asked me to pick out his outfit only to change his mind and say not to go through his suitcase. He later tricked me into a surprise spa day (pulled my arm) and said he needed to go back to the hotel to "read and do things". When I returned he said we had dinner plans outside the hotel which I found odd since I make all our restaurant plans. As we went downstairs, Chase said he wanted to show me a “new view” he had discovered. Our villa was perched on a hill with three different levels. I don't think I was off the last step of stairs before he was down on one knee. It was the most perfect setting. He had arranged a private gazebo dinner and even hired a photographer! We could not be any happier to celebrate this next BIG step in our lives with each of you. Bring your dancing shoes and get ready to party in California!
