FAQs

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The entire event will be taking place outdoors, but we do have covered areas in case of inclement weather as well as outdoor heat lamps.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving 30-60 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge has beautiful scenery, and you may get distracted by the sweet animals greeting you on your way to the ceremony space!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge mostly consists of sandy terrain, so please be mindful about footwear. The event will be taking place outdoors, so we suggest wearing layers in case we are in for a chilly October evening! We will have heat lamps set up at the reception space as well as the campfire going to keep us warm.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your invitation.

Question

Answer

While we adore your kiddos, we have chosen to keep our celebration adults-only.

Question

Answer

Yes, Cedar Run has a large parking lot available at the Nature Center.

Question

Can I smoke?

Answer

No. Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge has a firm no-smoking policy.

Question
