We are getting married!

We had been going to a singles ministry, Canopy, through Buckhead Church. We'd both stumbled into the same friends but had never met each other. That all changed during their Christmas event on 12/07/21. Stephon likes to claim that Allison came onto him, but Allison stands by the fact that she was just being a good human that can carry a conversation by asking people questions about themselves. We were chatting and hanging around the same people all night. At one point, we found ourselves standing there with Emily as Allison was sharing all of the horrible dating stories from the other guys in Canopy. As the 3 of us were standing there, a guy approached us and started up a conversation with Allison. Stephon quickly saw how uninterested she was and saved her from the conversation by pretending to be her husband. The rest of the night was filled with made up stories about our marriage and we held the joke for hours. Stephon pretended to be Allison's husband on December 7th, so now we are going to make it official by getting married on the same day 3 years later!
