Remedy Brewing Company
This brewery is one of our favs and just down the street from our venue! They have a great selection of beer and food, as well as plenty of room to gather. They also have a pickleball court! Perfect for grabbing a pre-ceremony drink if that suits you.
R Wine Bar & Kitchen
R Wine Bar is a special place for us because it is one of our favorite date night spots. We celebrated Steph's 28th birthday there and we couldn't recommend it enough! It is conveniently located within walking distance to our venue and hotel, and has some of the best food and drink options in Sioux Falls! If you are looking for a place to eat while you're in town, this is a great spot!
Fernson Downtown
If you’re looking for a fantastic spot to unwind and have some food and drinks, Fernson Brewing is the perfect place! This local brewery is renowned for its diverse selection of craft beers and delicious food. It's a favorite among Mason's friends, and we highly recommend checking it out!
Josiah's Coffeehouse & Cafe
Josiah's located in downtown Sioux Falls. It is located within walking distance of Phillips Avenue, where most of our recommendations are located, and the Washington Pavilion. They are locally owned, and have great food and coffee! A great spot for breakfast or an early afternoon pick-me-up.
Downtown Shopping
Downtown Sioux Falls offers an array of shopping options. We like to spend time walking and shopping at all the local boutiques and stores in the area. We especially like Zandbros, a unique gift shop with plenty of cool items and collectables.
All Day Café
All Day Café is a great brunch spot in Sioux Falls. They are located next to Scheels on 41st St, about a 10 minute drive from the hotel. We love breakfast food and we couldn't recommend it enough!
Parker's Bistro
We had dinner here on our first anniversary as a couple as well as the night we got engaged. While we were out to eat, Mason had his friends decorate Steph's apartment in preparation of him popping the question! It was the perfect start to a perfect evening. It is one of our favorite restaurants and we hope you enjoy it too if you get the chance to check it out!
Falls Park
Falls Park is one of our favorite spots to walk around after a dinner date. The Park includes a cafe, an observation tower, and the remains of an old mill. The Falls have some of the prettiest views of the Big Sioux River, with walking paths around the falls. This is a great place to spend a summer evening!
Empire Mall
The Empire Mall is located on 41st St. It has plenty of different store options as well as a food court. We frequently stop here when we are in Sioux Falls, and would recommend it to anyone who loves shopping! There is also a Target, Wal-Mart, T.J. Max, and Barnes and Noble nearby!
Washington Pavilion
The Washington Pavilion is known for the arts, entertainment, and science. It has something to offer for people of all ages, and it is a great spot to spend an afternoon! The arts and science museum has great exhibits, art pieces, and is interactive to really immerse you in the experience. The theatre and music venue also offer a number of shows, movies and documentaries to catch at anytime. This is a great spot to take the family!
Sioux Falls State Theatre
The State Theatre is located right in the heart of downtown Sioux Falls. This historic theatre continues to show a mixture of movies old and new. It's especially fun if you visit at night to see it lit up. It really adds to the experience! If you are looking to kill some time and catch a movie, this is the spot!
Ode to Food and Drinks
Ode to Food and Drink is another Sioux Falls hotspot for great food. They have a world renowned chef who has worked in some of the best restaurants in Hawaii, California, on the Food Network, and for former President Clinton! This place has great food, drinks, an amazing atmosphere, and is conveniently located within walking distance of our venue and hotel.
