How it began....Well we were both learning how to date in our 40's and found the online dating world difficult, crazy, and exhausting! After dating the wrong people, we matched on Bumble and met for dinner. Dinner lead to brunch to a Pirates game and so on. This must have been love since Don adventured to the big city to see Steph over and over again! We built our relationship on laughter, common interests, adventures, and unwavering support and understanding. We survived a time when most other relationships did not - the pandemic. While newly living with one another in a small apartment, we could have called it and no one would have blamed us! But, we became closer with the ridiculous shows and sports we watched, the games we played (Steph was so close to winning at chess ONE TIME), and finding how we can fight and make up in a healthy way! After taking the pandemic on and beating it, we found an amazing home, where we love to have yummy dinners, quiet nights in, parties for Derby Day and the 80's, and celebrating holidays. We have now decided to celebrate our love with all of you as we get married! Here's to an instant spark, an easy start, a challenging pandemic, and an amazing life and future!
